Meet The Team

At Central Supplies (Brierley Hill) Limited we supply a vast range of dairy products and provisions from cheese, milk, butter and yoghurt to soya products, cooked meat, bacon and a whole lot more.

Based in a purpose-built warehouse close to Birmingham with a direct supply route to the UK and Europe.

founded in 1988
with over 30 years experience in the cheese industry, Dave enjoys exploring new opportunities, developing close business relationships with suppliers and customers. He plays golf for fun and tennis for sport. Supports debatebly Birmingham's finest football team formed in 1875, has two daughters Rosie & Phoebe and a step son Alex. all of whom work full time in the company. Dave also enjoys walking his rescue staffy called Beau.

Martin has more than 30 years of experience with Wyke Farms and now holds a joint roll representing both Wyke Farms and Central Supplies mainly in the south west.
He enjoys playing squash and winning at whatever cost and has recently taken up tennis. He also used to play rugby for wasps.

Joined in 2012 Phoebe joined our team as the youngest sales rep where she developed both her business skills and industry knowledge to progress to Alpro category manager and various other in house jobs.
Having a direct interest in quality food, health & fitness makes her the ideal person to develop the sales within this category.
In her spare time Phoebe is always very active running for her local running club’s cross country’s team, open water swimming and jetting away to faraway places.

Joined in 2013 Sarah began working as Telesales Supervisor, and looking after our West Midlands accounts along side Peter Huntley. She has recently progressed to Business Development Manager looking after our customers in the South East of England. When shes not out and about visiting customers she likes nothing more than spending time with friends & family and spoiling her adorable nephew.

Joined in January 2015 Dave bought with him many years of experience in the Chilled Foods Sector. Previously with the Scottish Milk Marketing Board , Clifford’s Dairies and SDF/ Terbeke / Pluma for 23 years.
Living the dream on the West Coast of Scotland, he loves to play Golf and Travel along with going to Concerts. He is also an avid Glasgow Rangers season ticket holder . Now covering most regions of Scotland on behalf of Central Supplies and constantly looking for new business opportunities to add to the growing portfolio of customers who support us well.

Bob's youthful good looks belie his years of experience in Foodservice. Bob has been able to utilise Central Supplies wide quality product range to develop a large customer base throughout the UK. He likes most Sport and has supported his local Football team The Poppies for so long that he has almost lost the will to live.

He is always willing to go the extra mile (particularly when a spitfire is required) He enjoys walking his adorable Westie and also likes to roam cornwall in his caravan.

Rosie took on the Role of Telesales Manager which she quickly adapted to after coming from her previous job at a Beauty Salon. She recently became a home owner, but still finds the time to try out the latest restaurant or a Hot Yoga session after a stressful day in the office.

Joined in 1990 Jan has worked for Central Supplies for 28 years. Working along side Mike King & Bob McCready, she looks after our London, North West & Overseas customers. Jan loves the Sun, if shes not jetting off to Thailand or Mexico with her close friends and partner Richard, she is no doubt planning her next sun soaked get away.

Joined in 2011 Nicole started working along side Peter Huntley looking after our customers in the West Midlands, however 4 years ago she decided to take on the office night-shift role when we moved to 24 hour opening. She spends her spare time with her partner and spoiling her Nephew or booking her next exotic holiday! She is a fully qualified football coach and a basketball table officiator at national level.

Joined in 2009 Emmy, a very busy mum to 2 very energetic boys, she is often out and about trying to ware then out, along with their adorable staffie Ruby. Emmy looks after our customer in the South West and South East, working along side Martin Pollard & Sarah Page. She is definitely the one that brings the banter to our sales office.

Beth is a full time member of the sales team, after completing a year’s apprenticeship in the sales office.
Her cheeky smile and sometimes ditzy “blonde moments” leave the rest of the office in hysterics, she is definitely the comedian of the group!
Beth looks after our Scottish, Midlands & Welsh customers, working along side David Lyle & Peter Huntley. You will rarely catch her without freshly highlighted locks and manicure, and on a weekend.....a double JD & Coke in hand!

Carly plays a key role within Central Supplies, Along with being PA to our managing director, she handles a big section of our purchasing, looks after Credit Insurance, and is responsible for creating new customer accounts. Away from work Carly enjoys spending time with her son and the newest addition to their family, Alan the Hamster & relaxing with a drink or 2 with friends.

Joined in 2016 Courtney started her role at Central Supplies within the accounts department. Completing her level 2 NQV and working towards level 3 in Business Administration, she now works in our buying department. Courtney is responsible for ensuring our stocks levels are correct, along with some purchasing. In her spare time she enjoys socialising with friends and family, and not forgetting Freddie...her gorgeous French Bulldog.

James has had previous experience working with food coming from Morrison’s but has only ever had a retail background before coming to Central Supplies.
My real passion is football and I have always supported Birmingham City like all of my family. I enjoy just spending my time with my family and my girlfriend. I love going on holidays and hopefully one day I will be able to travel the World.

Joined in 2017 Chris started his journey with Central Supplies as a Sales Order Processor, however changed roles a few months later. He now meets and greets our customers, and works along side our buyer, James Sinton.
In his spare time, you will often find him in his local watching the football, he is also a keen singer/guitar player.

Michelle stared working at Central Supplies back in 2009, after a short break she re-joined the team in 2016 as Marketing Manager. She is responsible for managing the company’s website, producing a wide range of marketing material and working closely with the directors on new product launches.

Lise is our techy girl researching all the technical specifications and handling all product complaints hopefully this is kept to a minimum by her diligence and high standards. She has worked her way up to Technical Manager and enjoys the variety of her work and spending time with her family.

Mr. Jones has been employed by Central Supplies for over two decades. He has a vast amount of knowledge which he uses to run a busy warehouse and provides support on the logistics side of the company. He has four children, two dogs, three grandchildren and one Jan. He supports his local football team (Chelsea).

Simon handles the smooth operations of the business Looking after IT and telecommunications also routing the vehicles and sourcing any outside transport requirements. He is always running around with his phone to his ear and a piece of paper in his hand. Simon likes to keep right on to the end of the road.

Alex joined Central Supplies in 2014 and has recently completed his NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Business & Administration. Alex is responsible for planning daily deliveries to our customer up North and is also a Cheese Grader. In his spare time he enjoys following arguably the best football team in Birmingham, the mighty Blues.

Richard is our longest standing member of the warehouse team, having been with Central Supplies for a staggering 27 years. Richard is the chief warehouse operative and looks after it all behind the scenes! He is a keen follower of Cradley Heathens in speedway.

David has been in the cheese business since he was 16yrs old. He is married and has two children. He is now a follower of the biscuitmen in the Championship.
Outside of work David enjoys skittles and running! He also has an avid interest in food and enjoys cooking for others and spending time with his family.

Sharon has worked for Central Supplies for many years starting with sales then stock control she now handles the purse strings and human resources side. In her spare time she likes to walk her Labrador Honey.

David manages our accounts department. As a Dingle he is over the moon with his teams promotion to the Premier League. Dave enjoys spending time out in the fresh air with his beautiful Boxer dogs, he has 2 children one of whom has recently emigrated the New Zealand, we're sure it wont be long before Dave is jetting out for a visit!

Steffan has worked for the company for a number of years on a part time role whilst training at college and uni in various trades including dj'ing and sports development. He has now joined the company on the financial team. Steffan has recently married his better half Clare!

Before joining Central Supplies in January 2014, Maria worked for Thomas cook as a rep in Spain. Since changing her career path and joining us, she has progressed to working as our Credit controller in our accounts department. Maria works part-time at the office as she is a mum of 2 little boys, who she devotes all her time to.... & occasionally getting a well earned break socialising with her friends and family.

Business Development Manager – North & Scotland

Eric joined Central Supplies in January 2012 after supplying Central Supplies for many years with fruit juice from a number of different suppliers and was indeed the first person to introduce Soya to us.
We now sell over £500,000 per annum, thank you Eric.
When he first joined us he found it difficult because our product range was very different to the soft drinks he had previously sold but after a short period and a great deal of help from his loyal customers he got to grip with selling cheese, milk, yoghurt and a whole lot more and built up a considerable customer base and some very large accounts such as Kerry foods who we shall endeavour to look after as his legacy to the company.
In fact when he passed away he was away with the MD on a very successful business trip to Scotland and was already making plans to revisit the new customers we had picked up.
Eric was also a very good snooker player winning many trophies and was a regular at Bradwell working men’s club where he enjoyed a beer or two, that was where the wake was held and attended by many employees of C.S, previous employers of Eric, Customers and family from all over the country.
Eric leaves three brothers and three sisters. His wife Jane and two daughters Michelle and Sarah, who he loved dearly.
To sum up Eric was a great friend and work colleague and was never one to make a fuss always wanting to help others out and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Eric was known as Eric the valiant at Central Supplies due to his love of Port Vale and he was indeed that in every way.

Eric passed away on 19-06-2013.

RIP Eric you will be greatly missed.
